Payment Terms & Policies

At Tripsiana, we strive to keep your booking process seamless. The homestays, guides and safari permits a Northeast trip depends on are held for you with local operators who need committing to in advance, so the following payment schedules apply.
Where We Operate
- Northeast India: Meghalaya, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Sikkim. This is the whole of what we sell, and the schedule below applies to all of it.
- Permit states: Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram and Sikkim need an Inner Line Permit. We arrange it as part of your trip, and the permit fee is included in the price you are quoted.
Payment Schedule
Applies to every Northeast trip up to 8 days.

Longer Expeditions
For trips of 9 days or more, and for multi-state routes crossing into Arunachal Pradesh or Nagaland, where permits and remote-area stays have to be committed further ahead.

Important Payment Notes
- Airfare: For the issuance of flight tickets, 100% of the airfare amount must be paid upfront. Ticket prices are dynamic and are only secured upon full payment.
- Non-Refundable Services: Certain luxury stays, boutique experiences, or cruise bookings are “Non-Refundable” by the supplier. These must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Peak Season Surcharge: Payment schedules may be accelerated during peak seasons (December/Summer holidays) or for special events (Festivals/Expos). Your dedicated Tripsiana agent will confirm any specific variations at the time of quotation.
- Payment Gateway Charges: A convenience fee of 3% will be applicable on all payments made via Razorpay or other digital payment links. This fee is non-refundable.
Official Payment Channels
To ensure the security of your funds, please adhere to the following:
- Official Bank Details: Payments should only be made to the authorized Tripsiana bank accounts listed on your official Booking Voucher.
- Fraud Prevention: Tripsiana never requests payments to personal bank accounts or via unofficial links. We are not responsible for losses incurred if payments are made to unauthorized accounts.
- Confirmation: Once a transfer is made, please share the screenshot/UTR number with your Sales Agent to receive your Payment Receipt.
Always verify payment details with your Tripsiana agent. We will never ask you to transfer money to a personal account or an unverified link.
Statutory Taxes (GST)
- GST: Applicable as per Government of India norms on all tour packages.
- No TCS: Tax Collected at Source applies to overseas tour packages. Every trip we sell is within India, so no TCS is charged and you do not need to submit a PAN card to book.
