A Shimla and Manali tour fits comfortably in 6 to 7 days. Kasol and the Parvati Valley need 3 to 4 days, Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj 2 to 3, and the full Spiti circuit needs 8 to 10 days. We tailor the duration to the regions you want to cover.
For guaranteed snow, visit December to February when Shimla, Manali, Kufri and Solang Valley get fresh snowfall. Rohtang Pass holds snow for much of the year but stays closed in deep winter. Solang Valley is the most reliable spot for snow play near Manali.
Spiti is remote and high-altitude, so it needs more planning than the Shimla-Manali circuit. The roads are rough, altitude sickness is possible, and the season runs roughly May to October when passes are open. Yes. A limited number of permits are issued daily for Rohtang Pass and they must be obtained in advance online. We arrange the permit as part of your package. Note that the pass is closed in winter and the date it opens each year depends on snow clearance.

Carry warm layers year round, as mountain evenings stay cool even in summer. For winter or snow trips bring heavy woollens, gloves and waterproof shoes. Add a raincoat in monsoon, good walking shoes for treks, sunscreen and any personal medication.
